"In a compassionate world, we restore everything from oceans to forests, justice and our communities."
_ Julia Frodahl
What is this program all about?
Through this program, we're committed to training a million people from all over the world in the skills of compassion. Because wiser, more compassionate societies emerge through the development of wise, compassionate individuals.
Why Compassion?
Finding our way into a healthier relationship with ourselves, each other, and the beautiful Earth is the adventure and calling of our time.
Every one of the massive problems we currently face — from greed, to racism, corruption and eco destruction — is, at the root, a spiritual problem. Meaning, it’s a problem of not understanding interconnectivity. And none of these problems can be solved in a lasting way unless we work at this spiritual root.
The good news is that there’s a palpable longing and readiness for change. A longing to move from a culture of Me to a culture of We. The challenge is that this longing is frequently impeded by the deep conditioning within each of us that runs against it.
So we need training. We need training in the skills of compassion, cohesion, and equanimity. And that’s what this program is here to provide.
This program is here to meet the longing for change, and guide people through the inner revolution. It’s here to give people the hope and assurance that this Inner Work is happening on a scale that is large enough to make a difference. It’s here to make this inner work an actual movement. One that runs alongside the many other essential and beautiful movements happening in the world today — from regenerative farming to humane technology initiatives. It’s here to restore genuine self-love, revive a sense of duty and care for the whole, and nurture the ecosystems between self and other, self and community, self and Earth.
How does it work?
It's simple. Join us for a 6-week compassion immersion. There, we'll clarify what compassion truly is and what it isn't, why it's the skill we need for these times, and how to apply it to yourself and others in all manner of situations.
After that, you're added to our growing community of people from all over the world who have completed the program and are doing their best to live by its principals in the day-day.
This private online community serves as a greenhouse for your long-term cultivation, deepening, and embodiment of compassion. We have regular discussions on how to apply compassion to our Earth relationship, to social justice initiatives, to the workplace, to family life, and more.
Who typically participates?
Anyone who wants to help build a more compassionate world. We've had the pleasure of training teachers, activists, accountants, attorneys, tech entrepreneurs, healers, coaches, actors, artists, and musicians. All genders, youth and elders, from the suburbs, farmlands, and cities. Younger students have ushered their parents in. Sisters have ushered in their brothers. And since our inception in 2020, we’ve been honored to train over 2500 individuals from all over the world — from across the US, to the UK, Pakistan, England, France, Turkey, the Netherlands, Canada, and more. These teachings, and the readiness for them, are universal.
Even if you're already a compassionate person, this program will help you navigate these times with less fear and more hope, less division and more connection and repair.

“This class with Julia was nothing short of life-changing. I went in not knowing what to expect, and my mind was blown. Each session was filled with so much wisdom, and it was such a relaxing and beautiful way to start my Saturday mornings. I have felt such a shift in the way I perceive myself, my life, and those around me. I genuinely feel more compassionate towards myself and the world. I would recommend this course to absolutely everyone. Julia is incredible and so is everyone in this community.” __ Erica M.
“Julia's compassion immersion is one of the most profound teachings I've heard in quite some time. I am now inspired to become a warrior of love as my ultimate weapon against all the hate in this world.” __ Lauren N.
”I truly was not ready nor prepared for the depth and beauty of this course." __ Theresa O.
“Julia's Compassion Workshop is nothing short of revolutionary" __ Meredith Z.
“Before taking this course, I was hesitant of spiritual wellness schemes that tell people what they want to hear, rather than what they need to hear. Thankfully, this class makes no effort to ignore the reality of societal inequalities, and does not run contrary to medical/scientific thought.” __ K. P.
